Did I get lied to?

That my initial payment to get started of 99.99 will be going towards my bill? 

Someone told me I'm never going to see that money again.

Not aware of $99.99 pricing.

HOW is your credit? Poor or no credit has a $100 credit management fee, generally not refundable.

There is a $99 installation fee, normally added to first bill, but could be charged up front.

Recommend reading the ATT Terms Of Service (TOS) agreement. May have a link to consumer pricing schedule that could have been updated start of the year.

Internet Activation Fee $49 N/A N/A N/A A one-time fee when you activate service. This fee may be waived if you pay a Technician Installation Fee.
