ATT has the wrong zip code -- Why won't they correct it so we can move our service?

Since July 2nd, my husband has been on the phone with at least 8-10 reps trying to convince them that they have the wrong zip code for the home we are purchasing.  We've been customers for 10 years at least and we're moving to a location where the zip code information is INCORRECT.  He has talked at least 10-12 hours with multiple agents, one lied about helping, others said they would call back and never do.  The one that lied said that they would have a rep out on Thursday.  

 

The house we are purchasing is in one zip code -- 35080 -- AT&T has 35114 in their system, which is a zip code 4 miles away.  The homes around this home have AT&T service and they have not helped at all. 

 

We run our business from home and need internet to work.  I have never had such an experience where people in a company lie about helping you and then never do anything about it.

 

If we don't have someone contact us today, we will be moving our services.

 

Can anyone help us?
