Address Validation for New Construction

Hi,

I'm the first house on a new street. AT&T pulled fiber through the whole subdivision. I'm in the final phase of the subdivision and many neighbors have fiber. I worked with a local sales rep who requested address validation weeks ago with no progress yet. I put in my own request and haven't heard anything there either. I need to work from home. This is not okay and has been an extremely frustrating experience. The fiber is there. Why does this take multiple weeks? What gives!?!?

I should also note that the fiber is also on my street. There is a box for it in my front yard. I spoke with one of the guys that pulled the fiber. It's there. It's live. I want to give you money to use it. This shouldn't be hard.

Have you put your address and next door neighbors addresses here to see if service is active?

Where are the many neighbors who have it located? Other phases not near you? Beginning of subdivision?

Thanks for the info. The closest house with service available is probably about a couple hundred feet away. Contacted our local sales rep again and he said he escalated it 3 different times with canned responses just saying the address isn't yet available (exactly how it reads on the address checker). Pretty dumb that AT&T would spend the money to run the fiber without putting the addresses in their system. I just don't get it.

I already did the other things, so I messaged investor relations. Hope it gets sorted out soon.

The address is already in Comcast's system (and has been for months). I could have them out pulling wire into the house next week. It's such a horrible business practice to make it this hard to do business with AT&T.

Hi, I am experiencing a similar issue. Did you ever get this resolved, and if so, how? I too am getting nowhere with reps on the phone.

The investor relations form got me in contact with who I needed.
