Why are installers not vetted and trained
AT&T fiber optic repair a tremendous show of ineptitude and unprofessionalism.
Neighbors tree fell on my fiber optic line from the pole and tech arrived at 5:30 pm of the 4-8 window. He behaved and spoke giving zero effs. Told me “you need to cut these trees !” In demeaning tone - all trees were in neighbors back yard. Had loud and argumentative speaker phone convo with his wife while we were in the living room. Told me “you’re gonna help me throw this line” in demeaning tone. Stayed until 9:30 running a new line twice because his connections were faulty. Drilled redundant 3/4” hole in soffit and ran no line there. Pulled new line through old hole But did not seal it up. Did not tell me he left pest holes in my soffit. Ran lines erratically and attached all hardware in the middle of panels and trim. Used two undersized screws instead of one proper sized screw to mount incoming optic line anchor to fascia in separate location from initial line. Did not remove old fiber line from house. And left wires, packages, and zip ties in the yard.
no I’m not satisfied.
