WHEN WILL FIBER BE INSTALLED

They have laid the ground work for fiber to be installed in our area, but this was completed 5 weeks ago, but they have not come back run the fiber cable, we been waiting on this for 2 years to be completed, we would all like have good internet for change.

The first thing is, to make sure that your address is in the fiber service area. You can check your address with this helpful site: Check for Service Availability.

 

If your address shows that AT&T Fiber is available to your address, then you can place your order. If your address shows anything other AT&T Fiber services, that means that Fiber construction has not been completed as of yet.

 

If that is the case, then you will need to continue using the aforementioned link until you see that AT&T Fiber has been added to service menu for ordering.

Will take another 2 years for fiber to finish installed, like all our area was told 2 years ago it was going to be installed by Dec 2020, and now we are jan 2022 and they still have not completed the installation of fiber, i am tried of the slow 50 mg internet that causes our AT&T TV service to have more commercial break for down loading program then tv has with commercial, they want high dollar price for TV service, this should be cut in half until AT&T get there fiber installed since we watch lot commercial break from AT&T or they should refund money or give free months.

I doubt anyone on this forum can tell you exactly when fiber will be available to you.  File an FCC complaint if you don't like the answer you were given, though I doubt it will do much good.  No one can dictate to a company where and when to provide upgraded service.
