There is fiber available down the street from us. I would assume that the cables run down the whole street.
We'd like to get fiber to the house if possible!

We live in a 12 unit Townhome enclave in the midst of an entire zip code (75208) that has had fiber to all other homes in our neighborhood for years. Our HOA has requested upgrading the wiring to our switch for five years, keep getting promised we were on “expedited status”, then nothing happens. I’m now the president of our HOA, and we’re going with Spectrum if this isn’t resolved. Please don’t bother with another scripted response or promise—we’ve heard it before many times.
