The current procedure is for you to call 800-288-2020 and tell them you'd like to file a damage claim. AT&T will start the process and hand it over to a company called Sedgwick to administer the claim.
I wish you luck, most posts in here seem to indicate that this turns into a black hole more often than it should.

I was told by those at this number, that they cannot help me because we do not have ATT fiber in our area. duhhh that is why they are installing and damaged our property with their large utility box with ATT stamped all over it.

File an FCC complaint. This kind of stuff really chaps my hide.

Hello,
AT&T claims are handled through Sedgwick, our claims administrator. If you need to file a new claim, or track an existing claim- call the Claim Center at 855-365-4976. You can also create a login online here: http://sm.att.com/6bde0a66.
For new claims, it is helpful to have the following information:
Location – The physical address or GPS coordinates for the location where damage occurred.
Photos – Include close-ups and wide views of the area damaged. If possible, include photos of the person, vehicle, or equipment that caused the damage. Photos can be from cameras, cell phones, or other devices.
Once the administrator receives the information, they will assign it to a claims examiner. The examiner will generally contact you within 3-5 business days to discuss the report and get additional information.

@ATTHelp Unless the process has once again changed with no information of the change being released, this topic spells out how to file a damage claim. If that process has changed, please update the topic with AT&T's official process. Is this AT&T's way of putting up a moving target?

I followed all of ATT's directions above and was mostly bounced around. I finally got a claim submitted by calling 866-410-7414. All of the other calls were a dead-end. Good luck!

I have been on the phone for 2 hours getting bounced from rep to rep. 6 numbers later and still no answer for a property damage claim that was filed on January 11, 2023. I have the claim number, called the above number 3 times today *866-410-7414 and it goes directly to customer service who then redirects me to the above number so it is a endless circle of no answers. super frustrating. Here are the numbers that I have called today.
800-246-8464
844-485-0149
855-499-0149
855-365-4976
866-410-7414
800-246-8464
I am trying to reach the Risk Management Property Damage Department of ATT and the phone system puts me into the customer service que without allowing my call to go through to the department. 3 agents "transferred" me to the Risk Management Department and they all ended up being answered by an ATT service rep. super frustrating day with ATT

Update on this post: a local ATT Repair Supervisor called and showed up at my home today and will be supervising the lawn hole repair. Issue fixed.

AT&T came out 2 weeks ago and took responsibility for the damage the fiber optic line did to my Sprinkler main line. Was told to submit repair invoice and upload it to Sedgwick with copies of photos showing the fiber line and the broken sprinkler line. They've have the invoice an photo and said they'd call me back in a couple days to complete claim. It's almost 2 wks and no ones contacted me. When I call or email the person Clay Campbell to get an update all you get is his voicemail. Is this the normal experience?
