Property Damage Claim

I have been trying to reach someone with AT&T Risk Management for over three weeks now with no success!  I have called every number that every AT&T representative has given me.  I was finally able to get a voicemail recording at the number 1-855-365-4976.  Recording says to leave a detailed message with name, phone number, address where damage occurred, details of claim and someone will return your call within 48 business hours BUT  "if any of those things are left out, you will not receive a phone call back."  WHAT THE HECK?!  I would gladly send pictures, but have no clue where to send them!  I would like to get this matter resolved as quickly as possible!  HELP!!!

Let's help get you pointed in the right direction, @tagrimley!

Accidents happen, and we apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing. Property damage claims are handled through our third-party administrator, Sedgwick.

Call our Support team at 1-800-288-2020 and let any agent know that you’d like to open a new claim against AT&T. They will ask you a series of questions related to the incident and provide you a submitted claim number once the claim is submitted.

Once a claim has been filed, a Sedgwick adjuster will contact you within 3-5 business days to interview you about the incident. Please ensure that you take photos of the damage/ incident.

Please feel free to reach back out if you need help in the future. Thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums!

@tagrimley Did you have any luck? I have contact many agents, none of which seem to anything about a claims submittal process. They keep trying to play telephone game with me, giving me random numbers to offices that don't exists, return calls, or wrong departments. I am unfortunately having to turn into a "Karen" to be able to get anywhere with the people.

@jeaj92 same here. They gave me a claim number and told me to email pictures of my damage to a provided email address. I received a response from the email address saying they didn’t have my claim number. I called back that day and was told Patrick would reach out to me in 48 hours. It has been two weeks I am currently arguing with a representative on the phone and have to try and now file a new claim to start the process all over again. I didn’t even ask for them to dig in my yard they just did and caused 2 gas leaks and thousands of dollars of property damage in my subdivision.

Here is a number for AT&T Liability Claims.  855-333-0836. This is US Casualty-AT&T Liability Claims.  Their email address is:

[email scrubbed]

Our representatives name was Linda.  Once we had finally reached someone, the whole process went quickly and smoothly.  AT&T reviewed our photos of the damage, contacted the contractor who installed the fiber optic underground, showed them the pictures, and contractor accepted Liability.  He then contacted his insurance company (they were great to work with!) and she said just forward her the quote from the plumbers and she would take it from there.  We didn't have to do anything else!  Here's the kicker....the plumbing company gave us a quote of $6200 to dig up broken pipe, replace it, then report the concrete in our driveway.  Once the insurance took over, the insurance rep said the bill was only $4800!  Very fishy!!!

Anyway, I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have success!  If that number doesn't work, I will dig further through my notes when I can get back to them.

@tagrimley @cubsfaninstl72 We have also been dealing with this same issue for two months!! We are getting the same run around! I’ve called this 855 number and it is now not being “staffed”, so I can’t talk to anyone.

@Chuetter I called the 855-333-0836 5 minutes after Don (the rep) gave me the number and I got the not being staffed message also.  Have you been able to get through?

@adamxaj I did finally, last week. The lady told me that this is the number everyone calls to make a claim and they get thousands of calls every day, so just keep trying. Good luck! We have someone assigned to our claim, but still have not had our damage fixed.

Yay @CHuetter!!  It was a little over a week before someone got back to us.  Have pictures and any other documentation ready!  They usually have to find out what contractor was assigned to your location, then that contractor will take it from there.
