Poor customer service

Our AT&T fiber stopped working mid-day today. The steps the technician provided over the phone did not resolve the issue. AT&T said the earliest available to have an onsite technician come out is tomorrow at noon. My wife and I both work from home and heavily use the internet for our jobs. I had to use my phone to cancel my four meetings this afternoon. It is ridiculous that att has no on-call technicians available to service emergency outages. We have been att customers for years but that’s likely not going to remain the case after this poor service

You are paying for residential service, entertainment purposed. If you need a reliable connection with faster response you should consider getting a business line as well as having a good back up plan, just as a hotspot with unlimited data.
