Ongoing Fiber Optic Installation - Country Walk, Miami Florida

There is a sub-contractor, Blue Streak Telecommunications LLC currently digging up the common areas and some private lots for fiber optic lines within the Country Walk community. Since they have been onsite, there has been major disruption for management and our residents. The sub-contractor has cut power lines, internet and cable lines. Last week they cut through lines feeding power to our street lights. I contacted them directly on Monday and again yesterday since our community has been in the dark for a week. They finally replied late afternoon yesterday, and advised they would repair the wires. We requested credentials for the electrician they would be contracting. They failed to provide the credentials so we contacted our own electrician. Following a few phone calls and several emails, a meeting onsite was conducted between our electrician and Rolando from Blue Streak. Our electrician provided instructions on how to properly repair the lines and requested a call back to revisit the area and ensure repairs were done correctly. Blue streak disregarded our request and made repairs without providing management with the credentials for the electrician they presumably hired. We have no insurance documentation or licensing information. Upon learning of the unauthorized repairs, contact was made via email alerting Blue Streak that a formal complaint would be made to AT&T and Miami-Dade County. This company is a total disaster. They have covered up breaks in our irrigation lines, power lines to lights and have been careless in the manner in which they have undertaken this project. We are requesting a phone conference with whomever oversees these types of projects within AT&T.  Please contact me as soon as possible to discuss this matter further.

Can you please provide the proper department or an email where I can send this complaint to. There are way too many layers on AT&T's website. We've been trying to reach an AT&T representative who can assist.

As customers, we have no more access to that information than you do.

The only thing we can recommend is that you file a complaint with the BBB.  Those are handled by the OOP.
