Needing internet connected for new construction. We've been waiting two months. HELP!

Service was originally supposed to be installed on 8/23, but the technician could not find the hand hole on my property to pull the wire from. Two technicians and many phone calls later, a two man construction crew finally came out and found the hand hole in my yard (destroyed by builders) and replaced it with a new one. They also ran cable to it. My assumption was that it was ready for installation at that point, yet, no one has been out, nor has anyone contacted me. Every time I call AT&T, I get the run around.  We've waiting far too long. My neighbor already has it less that 30 yards away from my house. Can anyone help guide me to the right person/people? HELP!
