Moving the fiber optic box

We want to move the fiber optic box from the back of the house to the front. We want to connect the router directly to the main tv. Anyone know how to get AT&T to do this and the cost?

Call 1-800-288-2020 and request a technician be sent out to move your connection due to poor performance of your Internet connection. That's why you want to move it closer to the main TV (to improve the quality of your service).

What are you calling the Fiber box at the back of the house?  Do you really mean the AT&T Gateway. Examples: BGW320, BGW210-700, 5268ac.

Do you have a crawl space under your house or access in the attic or only by going around the side of the house?

The pricing can vary. Worst case it would be $149 for the technician dispatch and the move of your equipment. Here is the breakdown: $99 for the dispatch of a tech on demand and $50 for the equipment move.

If you explain that you are having performance issues with Wi-Fi and your Smart TV or other Internet devices it may not cost you anything to have the changes made.

All you can do is ask nicely.

I am talking about the white box that is attached to the wall.  We have constant buffering even with a booster and we have the top speed for fiber.

We do not have a crawl space. The only problem is the tv is on an inside wall so I’m not sure how we can make it work.
