I’ve just got replacement router and is not working

I got it 40 minutes ago, I set it up and is not working. I called the tech support department and I was told that the order was self-install and I have to wait until 11:59 bc today is the installation date.  I don’t understand why do I have to wait until that time? Is that true?

You mentioned that it is a replacement router. Just to confirm, do you already have existing service, or was this a new installation? 


If it is new service, the service would be activated on the installation date, in which case you would wait until it has been activated.


For existing, you just need to swap out the gateway/router and follow the following instructions to set up the gateway
