Is AT&T not putting the ends and cable lines on Cat 5 in residential houses
We were under the impression that AT&T would put the ends and cable lines on the Cat 5 when we are building the homes for our customers. Is this not true?

they put ends in one location once service is ordered and installed they arent going to terminate every cable in the house, thats up to you or hire a low voltage contractor .

You can get modular ends that don't require a crimping tool, but I don't like them.

I prefer terminating the lines in a patch panel strip. Might need a punch down tool, though.
In any case, room-to-room wiring is not the responsibility of the ISP. They may do one room as a courtesy.

Yes, small patch panels aren't all that expensive, less than a crimper.
