Installer didn’t finish work

Wire is still above ground. Needs to be buried. Installer won’t answer phone. Who do I contact to have someone come out and finish the job?

The installer lays a temporary fiber drop then a contractor comes out to bury it.

The installer does not bury wiring.... creates a work order for a different dept to schedule burial. Depending on what part of the country your in, may be local contractor (12 states) or local employee (9 states SE). Additional time of year can affect wait time as North Central states (Ameritech) have no burial performed while ground is frozen. In states such as Michigan and Wisconsin this generally means all requests from Thanksgiving to Easter will be buried in April / May while spring requests buried in the summer.

You should receive a message from ATT Bried Center group concerning the day (no time frame) can expect wiring to be completed after work order has been confirmed and scheduled.

Forgot to add that it’s been 6 months. He said call him once the house next door was finished with construction so they don’t  accidentally cut our wire.

house next door is finished. Tried contacting original installer. No response. Is there someone I can contact to schedule a burial?

Don't worry, nick00less, we can help you get the exposed wire buried.

Just call our Buried Wire Center at 800-924-9420 to report the unburied wire. They're available Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST.

Good luck and thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums team.
