Install of internet in guest house
I am admittedly completely ignorant in this area, so please accept that. I have a new home build that qualifies for ATT fiber. I have an adjacent guest house less than 20 feet away, which will need internet/tv connection. The guest house has the same address as the main home. Our electrician ran a cable underground over to the guest house to ensure a wired connection to the TV. We are planning on using TP Link Deco set of 3, with 1 in the guest house for internet connection.
So we come to my questions: when we call ATT to set up service, do they need to be informed about the guest house? Or are they going to set up the main house, and then it is up to us to connect the cable from the main house that runs over to the guest house and figure it out from there? I just don't know if I need to clarify anything to ATT when setting the appointment.

When calling AT&T to set up service, inform them about the guest house and your intention to connect it to the main house. They will guide you on the necessary steps and equipment to ensure both houses have internet and TV service.

Many WiFi system satellites support wired backhaul, and if yours does, you should be golden if you also wanted WiFi in the guest house. I’d setup the personal router to run in bridged or AP mode to make things easier for yourself.

Thank you! ATT has since been to the home and connected us to fiber, and the TP Link Deco set is on its way.
