I would like to request FIBER!
Hi, I/ve read a few "cookie cutter" responses from ATT. I looked on the map and it says my city of Mansfield, TX has fiber, but particularly my neighborhood does not have access to it. I have only lived here for 2 years and have been requesting faster service the past 2 years, currently i am only getting 30 up and .44 down. YES .44 DOWN! Unacceptable. we are all working from home and I have kids attending school, how do you expect us to work? currently we have to take turns to not eat up all the bandwith. I got the same answer 2 years ago when i asked for Fiber (the sales man actually told me we had fiber, which we dont, but thats another comment box all together.) So, when and how fast can we request contruction to put fiber in, our whole neighborhood feels like we are being held captive by slow internet connections and we have been requestiing other companies to come install their service, which they seem to bee working to get done.

You have to request an evaluation to see if you can get it or not. Must be submitted by the Property Owner, Property Manager, or HOA Board Member.

You should know that AT&T isn't concentrating on fiber expansion in existing neighborhoods any more. Most new fiber is dedicated to 5G towers, government & emergency services and new housing developments.
