How do I file a claim for damages to my property incurred due to installation of fiber-optic lines?
An AT&T contractor installing fiber-optic lines damaged my pool drain lines, ruptured a gas line, and damaged a sprinkler line. I spent three hours on the phone on with AT&T representatives on Thursday, May 5, 2022 with no results. I was transferred from department to department. I received assurances that I would not be left on hold for long but that was not the case.

Let's make sure you can get your damage claims filed, @KDC9501!
Before you can get started, you'll need to have the following information available:
Once you have that info together, you can contact our claim center by calling 855-365-4976. Afterwards, an examiner should get in contact with you within 3-5 business days.
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out! Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums!

Recently installed fiber optic in our neighborhood resulting in damaged yards, trash left behind, damage to streets, four different colors of spray paint on our streets. I would NEVER use AT&T no matter what deals they offer due to the total disregard for our property!!!

I don't know why anyone would entrust the Neanderthals who did the damage in the first place with the job of fixing anything. Fortunately, they don't do repairs.
You need to document the damage (dates/times, pictures, etc) and hire someone to repair the damage. Then follow the instructions HERE to file a claim. Ignore the info provided by ATTHelp because the process has changed since that was posted.
Note that you will be dealing with a claims administrator company, who deals with an insurance company. If you've ever dealt with an insurance company and had a dispute, you already know what you're in for over the long haul.

At&t came out and ran new lines on the poles behind our house and did damage to our custom fence in Oct 2022. Because I am NOT a At&t or direct TV customer they gave me the run around with 15 different numbers. I finally talked to someone who said they took down the info and gave me a claim number. 3 months later I have heard NOTHING! I have called my "agent" over a half dozen times and no call back. I have video and picture proof that they did the damage, including a worker wearing an At&t vest and still nothing. The mysedgwick claims website says my claim is closed...What the actual heck am I supposed to do? I would take them to court, but who is them At&t, no they say it was a subcontractor?? No accountability!!!UGH

They did the same thing to my property and I had to cough up $1500 for repairs. Now, the shady construction management company they outsourced to is denying fault because the pictures taken did not show an "Orange pipe." Sedgwick, the claims management company AT&T outsources to, refuses to communicate.
I'm posting on every single one of these threads since so many people are having issues. Let's all get together for a (Edited per community guidelines) (Edited per community guidelines) and make them pay!

They just installed fiber in our neighborhood. Att sales guys came to
my house today and broke my doorbell on camera. 9 hrs on the phone today with no answers. Gonna call the police and file a report, get it fixed, then take them to small claims court. Also gonna call the hoa and tell them my experience. Hopefully no one subscribes to their fiber internet. Def gonna cancel my cell service with them too.

Door-to-door sales are NOT AT&T employees. They are independent contractors. Be sure to share that information with the police, your HOA & SCC.

It was my daughter's 25th birthday. We were just about to have breakfast and heard a loud crash. We ran to out front and saw a trailer had hit the AT&T box, my railing and the shrubs in front of my new home. I called the police. I have a report and I called At & T which was no help at all. I was given 4 numbers to call and the hold times were ridiculous!
I called 4 different numbers. Finally I called 866-410-7414 and reported my property damages.
-Report # NG14GZ43
If this doesn't get rectified, I will blast Butler Utility Contractor and AT & T on all social media platforms, the Better Business Bureau, etc!
