Fiber Testing and Green Light status?

Recently AT&T has ran a new fiber line down our road. I spoke with the installation technician a week ago and he said he was adding the last drop on the end of the fiber run. Then it would require testing to check the line and be "green lit" after that.

I'm not to sure about the process of testing or time frame. I keep calling/emailing my local AT&T office for any information regarding this matter and no luck on my end.

All of the Corning "Flex-Naps" have been installed/connected to the fiber trunk, the fusion splice cans have been raised/secured to the overhead lines, and the lines on the poles looks very professionally done.

Does anyone have a number/email were I may be able to get a hold of the network engineer working this installation and discuss the logistics?

No and your local AT&T office has no information on when the fiber install will be "green lit". The only thing you can do is to keep checking for availability at your address or your neighbor's.

Once the physical work is done it can take 3-6 months before you are able to order service.

Keep checking this link to see when your address qualifies for Fiber.

You can also use the MyAT&T app or login to your account on the AT&T web site to see when Fiber is added as an available Internet option.

I'll stop the line tech and ask him for his bosses number. I had this happen with sparklight when I lived somewhere else. Couple of phone calls and I can eventually get to the right person.
