Fiber Question

Can i get more info on what ATT is doing on fiber installs in my area then just the customer service “wait it out” response? I would like to know because we desperately need faster speeds than 50mbps.

They don’t share future builds with the public or front line employees.

COSTING ME 3000. I have been trying to get internet installed for 4 weeks now every time they set a date. They cancel the day before due to outside facilities issue. I just moved in and have been waiting on this now to finish the move. I have to stay in my apartment with wifi because my job will only let me connect to my wifi. I have called and spoke with multiple people and NO ONE has been helpful. If this is how customers are treated before they have service I would hate to see how they treat people who are locked in to them

Here to help address your fiber installation questions, @ST4R.

As @Constructive mentioned, we won't be able to provide any information on when to expect fiber service to be available in your area until it's actually ready to be deployed to your residence.

For your benefit though, you can sign up to be notified when the service is available, and we'll be sure to let you know as soon as it can be ordered for your address.

Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns, and we'll be happy to help.

You may have seen ATTHelp do a DM with others asking the same questions you are, but I guarantee you that what they'll tell you is exactly what both ATTHelp Jarod and Constructive have already said.  The only people who know when an area will get service never talk to the public or even this level of employee.

I know it's incredibly frustrating but that's how AT&T plays the game. 🙄

@ST4R   Could you please change your profile picture to be something other than an official AT&T logo?  It would help your credibility.  😁
