Fiber line broke inside connector-Where can I find a replacement?

AT&T isn't able to get me a service appointment when I'm available, so I'm taking matters into my own hands. I've circled the exact part I'm after. My fiber cable broke off inside the original and I cannot get it out or get the fiber to fit back in. I purchased a visual fault detector and some quick connectors off of Amazon but cannot get them to work at all. They're a completely different model than the grey piece that takes the fiber on the AT&T setup. 

Any advice is greatly appreciated. New to this, but a fast learner.
