FIBER INTERNET 1000

my technician came 2 weeks, ago he said that the box he needed to tap into was to close to a fence I guess. either way then he sat in his truck in my front yard with his feet kicked up for and hour then left, didn't say anything. I haven't gotten any word from AT&T since. would like to know when my internet will be installed, since I payed the instillation fee already

You should call customer service at 800-288-2020 and see if you have an install appointment. If they say yes and it has a date in 2036, the system has put your install on hold until a facilities issue is fixed. If no appointment, go online and schedule an appointment. Don’t schedule by phone, you won’t get rewards cards as a new customer. Check on the install fee. Most new customers don’t get charged for one.

Ground level service?

Fence?

Not making sense, pics?

Tech could have taken lunch, training, or other company business.

Either job was returned waiting for additional work group or was cancelled, no install now pending.

On my AT&T phone app I have an appointment scheduled ford Christmas of 2036, this means there is a issue at there facility? could you elaborate. will be calling the number now but I was on hold for them on the same number for about 2 hours, after talking to an employee that was telling me he basically she didn't know what to do and I was out of luck. then they hung up on me, after the long wait on hold they hung up.

Let's get you pointed in the right direction, @justinpenrod13

Like @browndk26 said, you'll want to call 800-288-2020 or go online to schedule a new appointment. The 2036 appointment date likely means there's some sort of facility issue delaying the install.

There is a problem somewhere between your home and main fiber point. All you can do is wait for it to be resolved. Check weekly to see if your appointment is changed. Quite possible you will get a message if an install is scheduled. Post back in two weeks if no change. There is an option to escalate or get a more definitive answer as to what the issue is. Don’t bother calling first line support as they won’t know anything. Not a criticism of the phone reps themselves. That’s just att’s system.
