Fiber Installation for my neighborhood

AT&T installed fiber in part of our subdivision in 2016, but did not complete the installation to the rest of our subdivision.  I was told that this was do to the complaints arising from property damage by the contractor.  I find this odd, as I previously lived in a city where Verizon installed fiber withe very few issues.  Many of my neighbors would love to have the option to subscribe to AT&T Fiber.  I’d like to know if there are any plans to finish the deployment to the rest of our subdivision?

Hello @Jrp526!

We're happy to see that you have a continued interest in our Fiber service! You can verify if your city has been or is currently being outfitted with AT&T Fiber with our Fiber Coverage Map.

If your city is either currently underway, or not on the map, worry not! AT&T is always looking for opportunities to expand and we may be in your city before you know it!

You can stay updated on AT&T services available to you, including Fiber, by entering your information on our Notify Me page.

We hope this helps, and we hope to be able to welcome you to the AT&T Fiber Family soon!

This response doesn’t answer my question, perhaps you should try to read it again.

Not helpful either.  I have seen similar posts where they were sent a private message and asked to provide their address.  I already knew that fiber was available in my city, just not in “all” of the subdivision, i.e. not my section. The other link proved will tell me I can subscribe to AT&T Uverse, which is copper based DSL service with a blistering fast speed of 25 mb.  I also don’t subscribe to the statement “no frontline facing employee would have knowledge or access to the information you seek”. I agree it would be a million to one shot that any employee would have knowledge of the information I seek.  However, there are always additional tiers of support that should have the information I seek and they should have access to that.  I sincerely doubt #ATTcares.
