Fiber cable in yard needs re-buried

We switched to fiber not long ago.  The crew that buried the cable did a poor job, most of it is less than an inch deep and some of it is still exposed.  I asked the tech that installed the fiber who I could call and he said he would forward the request for a re-bury, but I haven't heard anything back and think the request never went anywhere.  What number do I call to get this resolved and get them to come back and do it right?

The bury wired center who will need to send a tech out to create a new request for a new burial…. 

Would not expect the local contractor will unearth existing wiring and rebury… they will just install a new line.

Then at a future unknown date a Uverse tech will dispatched during one of seven days at anytime 8 am to 8 pm to switch the connections during which time (30 minutes?) you will have no service.  

I have had some customers chose to bury the line themselves, depends on what you do and what tools you have… a landscaping individual (customer) has no issues doing it the way they want. Contractors are different.

 NEC code 830.47 gives the depth of different scenarios. One to two inches doesn't meet any of the direct buried requirements. What you've stated is pretty common with all carriers, I doubt any of them follow code except for the power companies.

Who # would I call if I wanted them to come and install/bury a new line?  I have the hardest time trying to find a phone number for anyone, without ending up in a call center in the Philippines or somewhere else outside the U.S.

Contact the buried wire center you can call them Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. ET
