Fiber buried in neighbors yard

Readers digest version:  AT&T rep spoke with someone about how the cable should be buried on our side of fence. Everything was given the okay so we waited.  Contracted company came to bury line, when it was on the INSIDE of our fence, where it was to be buried.  Told our other neighbor that they couldn’t do that, I texted our neighbor and told him to relay to them that by no means was cable to be buried outside of fence.  Came home cable was not buried.  Fast forward 2 weeks came home one night cable was buried a FOOT into our neighbors yard.  Needs to be corrected but can’t get anyone to acknowledge the goof up of the said contractor.   I know AT&T did not bury the cable BUT the contractor who buried it is there so called employee. I know how this all works as my dad worked for Bell and hired contractors on behalf of Bell to bury phone cable.

I am being given the runaround about an electrical line that was cut during a fiber install. It has been 8 weeks since a rep for ATT was at my house telling me a claim was filed for the repair. Now no one can come up with the file. My Sedgwick has no record of it according to their rep. What gives?

@tonykelly why not open your own topic instead of tagging onto an unrelated one?
