Exposed Fiberoptic Wire

There is an exposed temporary fiberoptic cable outside our house, right in front of our side door where we park. We are constantly tripping on the wire and my 2 year old daughter hurt her knee after tripping on the wire. I was told by an att service technician that the wire had to be re-buried after the first contractor's work resulted in a weak signal. Another contractor was supposed to come replace the buried wire and never showed up. Can someone please fix this trip hazard. I really don't want my daughter getting injured again.

Choices, in my opinion…

cut and remove the line, result is loss of service but no tripping haxard

or

wait for a contractor to bury a fiber line.

Personally I do not believe the tech should have installed a temporary line in that fashion… if cannot place a line without crossing a street, alley, driveway, sidewalk, etc then tech should create the work order and customer waits for burial process before service installed or restored.

This follows SAFETY FIRST instead of business first.
