connect fax to gateway

Since my fiber installation, my Brother printer/fax (MFC-L2717DW) isn't found on the network. The installer didn't leave the box (which apparently should have a special phone line) or any instructions. 1: Do I need the special line cord; 2. If so, how can I get one (and the instruction booklet); 3. When I get the cord, where should it connect to the router? Thank you.

Thanks to both of you for your excellent help. I deleted all the drivers and did a fresh wireless install and voila! What a relief! Couldn't have done it without you, literally.

The installer said that someone would be coming back to finish the job, but I don't know what is left to do, evidently something? I think it has to do with the phone lines. Thought I'd try calling 611 to see if they can direct me properly. I have left messages and sent emails to the "Integrated Solutions Representative" with no response.
