concern about Electric and magnetic fields (EMFs) of the house near At&T "white box"

My name is Yuka. We're trying to buy a house, and found a nice house in Orlando, FL.

Behind the backyard of the house, there is a "while box" written AT&T on it. This community has AT&T for their phone and internet service, so I assume when some problems happen, AT&T shall check with this box.

So my question. Would this type of "box" emit EMFs to affect human health?

I'm not familiar with latest technology, so all I can describe is "a white box in the community that says AT&T", it must be major source of circuit in the community.

In our current world, it's hard to avoid EMFs, I'm not trying to avoid completely, but if there's something that may hugely affect our health, it's better to avoid.

Hope this makes sense and somebody gives me answer. Thank you for your time.

Let's make sure the house is safe, @yukachan32!

While equipment like that does emit EMFs, it's generally not enough to be harmful.

If you're concerned about the exact amount being emitted by the box, you'll need to reach out to your local power company and ask them to schedule an on site-reading.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out!
