Backyard Property Damage obtained a Reference # and no return call
Customer Service,
On Friday, July 8th there were service team in my back yard. I was not home and was not informed--I saw the workers from my camera later that day & checked with my neighbor and told that was AT&T installing lines.
1. I am not an AT&T customer and was not notified of the work and appreciate workers digging up my yard when I am not a customer.
2. There was no notification or and follow up to address what or why they were in my yard. Other neighbors stated they were notified and coordinated the time with AT&T. My question is did AT&T go to the right yard or why would they install anything in a backyard when the home is not an AT&T account and no permission.
3. My yard was dug up in multiple areas and a sprinkler head is now having issues (I just had my sprinklers addressed a month ago).
4. I called in on Tuesday once back at home spoke with Michelle she gave me a reference # (PX83WS52) and told me I would receive a call back within 24-48 hours by a manager or field supervisor that was involved with the work--No phone call to date. I did call in yesterday spoke to Al and he further escalated and have not heard anything.

This isn't the experience we want for you, @Mpath.
We definitely understand how frustrating it is having your yard torn up. To further assist with answering your questions as well as seeing what options we have to make this right with you, you'll need to file a property damage claim.
Please keep in mind that when filing a claim, you'll need to provide us with the following information:
Location – The physical address or GPS coordinates for the location where damage occurred.
Photos – Include close-ups and wide views of the area damaged. If possible, include photos of the person, vehicle, or equipment that caused the damage. Photos can be from cameras, cell phones, or other devices.
Once you have the information together, call the Claim Center at 855-365-4976.
We hope the information helps, and thanks for reaching out on the AT&T Community Forums!

I did file a claim and received a reference number and part of the frustration--each person tells you something different--I will try this route.

Sounds like from your initial post an AT&T contractor was installing Fiber lines in a utility easement. They would install the Fiber lines just like any other utility.
Is it possible the other neighbors that were contacted had a dog or locked gate blocking access?
You don't have to be a customer of AT&T for them to access a utility easement. Just like your local Electric, Water, or Cable company the lines can't just skip over your part of the utility easement.
You might want to review your property plat and confirm that you have a utility easement in your back, side, and maybe even in your front yard.
