AT&T was digging and broke a sprinkler pipe in my yard.

AT&T broke a sprinkler pipe in my yard which resulted in a loss of sprinklers in my front yard. Who do I call to have them fix the pipe they broke? I have looked everywhere for a way to contact them to no avail. Next I guess I'll file a consumer complaint. Not sure what to do.

Hi @kmaxkmax

I apologize for the inconvenience caused.

The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns. To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page, and choose the best option to reach out to us. You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support. If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums

I have tried that many, many, many times to no avail. The problem is, I do not have an account with AT&T for Internet, only mobile. Please send me a phone number where I can talk to a human being about the problem. I have wasted  an enormous amount of hours going round and round with automated (Edited per community guidelines) asking me for my account number. They dug a hole in MY yard but it is NOT for MY service.

Thanks, Kent

Hey @kmaxkmax, we hear you and understand that your concern is with regard to the wires left in your front yard and need that to be fixed.

We recommend you to call our buried wire teams and follow the prompt.

  • Say "No account." When asked if you want to order new service, say "No." Then, to let us know why you're calling, say “Line is down.”

To check on an issue that's already been reported, call our Buried Wire Center at 800-924-9420 Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6 p.m. (EDT).

Let us know if this helps.

Thank you for reaching out to community and forums.

I'm sorry, this message is a little unclear. Is the number to call in the problem the same number that that you say is for an issue that has a already been reported?

Hi @kmaxkmax,

Since you have already reported I would request you to wait to hear back from the buried wires team as the minimum TAT is 24-48 working hours.

Thank you for reaching out to community and forums.
