ATT not repairing landscaping back to normal

ATT has been out three times total over this Summer and Fall digging new fiber lines. Every time they have not come even reasonably close to fixing our landscaping back to the way it was before. They have completely ruined parts of our yard by mixing landscaping rock in with the dirt. The people that come out and dig are careless. They could easily move the rock to the side and start digging yet they don't. We never hear back from ATT in a reasonable amount of time. And when we do we usually just get a run around answer and then don't hear from them again. ATT clearly doesn't care if they mess up your yard and will just ignore you when you try to bring it up. They don't even bother to say anything when they are coming. They've blocked the driveway to where employees and patients are unable to come into the office. They've hit a gas main and caused us to evacuate. Every step of the way has been handled unprofessionally and in the most careless way possible. I'm willing to give grace for effort but there's simply no effort by ATT to do anything!

These are contractors for one. Are they within a utility easement? If so and you chose to improve the property in the easement there's not much you can do. If this is outside the easement file a property damage claim at the bottom you'll see the number to call for buried wire damage issues.

City of Wichita ordinance says they must repair the property (easement or not) back to equal or better condition within reason (simple garden and lawn they must repair which is all I'm talking about nothing extravagant.). I've asked nicely. I've even asked to know in advance so I can make proper arrangements to make it a nonissue. They just show up and start digging. I'm not even able to mark my sprinkler lines before they come out because of this. I'm really not asking for a lot here. If it was a one time issue that's one thing. but they dig and ruin the landscape then come back a couple months later and do the same thing. I appreciate the link and I will fill out a damage claim.

Hello,

AT&T claims are handled through Sedgwick, our claims administrator. If you need to file a new claim, or track an existing claim- call the Claim Center at 855-365-4976. You can also create a login online here: http://sm.att.com/6bde0a66.

For new claims, it is helpful to have the following information:
Location – The physical address or GPS coordinates for the location where damage occurred.
Photos – Include close-ups and wide views of the area damaged. If possible, include photos of the person, vehicle, or equipment that caused the damage. Photos can be from cameras, cell phones, or other devices.

Once the administrator receives the information, they will assign it to a claims examiner. The examiner will generally contact you within 3-5 business days to discuss the report and get additional information.

Well looks like the damage claim process was changed again. @ATTHelp would you please update the damage claims link that I posted.

ATT damaged areas when laying new lines this past winter.  Who do I call to ask about the repair?
