ATT Fiber optic damaged my yard, slowed down my internet and wants to charge me more money.
Where do I even start.
ATT installed fiber optic lines in my yard back in end of July/August. This was a couple months after I've signed a 2 year contract for their U-verse internet. NOT ONLY did they sever my internet connection TWICE during this fiber optic installation, I've had to call 3 separate technicians out to TEMPORARILY fix and bury the line..... this was ALL IN ONE MONTH. A technician told me ATT will switch me over to fiber optic soon since our line can ONLY be temporarily fixed. Along with my now damaged yard, we've noticed our internet has slowed down significantly and called another technician out last week. Even he confirmed that due to the fiber optic installation it has slowed down our internet connection and can't do anything to my TEMPORARILY fixed line. ATT will have to charge us more if we want to use fiber optic.
It is NOT fair that we signed up for a 2 year contract and made unaware of the major changes from ATT of the fiber optic installation that has slowed down our internet, SOMETHING WE'RE STILL PAYING FOR. We're stuck in a bind with a 2 year contract that is UNDERPERFORMING due to fiber optic.
And we're still being charged every month along with a severely damaged yard for 4 months (still damaged) and now having technicians asking to come into my yard if someone from my neighborhood wants fiber optics. That is not our responsibility to wait around to let ATT technicians in our yard.
The last technician agreed with how unfair our situation is and even reached out to his manager THAT HAS YET CONTACTED US OR SHOWED UP. It has been a week and a half and this is still coming out of our own pockets. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS? IT'S BEEN 4 GOING ON 5 MONTHS!
