AT&T Fiber Installation in my Subdivision

I need some help…

I live in Cumberland Ridge subdivision in Marietta, GA. Many of our homes keep getting flagged for Utilities for Digging since last year repeatedly. Yet no one comes to dig. I found out the requester is a company called ARSO. They are a Contractor working for AT&T. They tell me this project was cancelled and they did not call for the marking. So how can I find out what is going on? Trying to talk to someone is impossible at AT&T. I just want the marking to stop until they are really going to do something. Thanks !

Call the local 811 office and ask who requested the utility marking.

I did… The requester was ARSO for AT&T they said. But when I call ARSO, they say… We did have this Project assigned to us from AT&T in July of last year, but it was cancelled. That’s why I would like to talk to a representative from AT&T. The guys Marking up my lawn with Painted Lines and flags give me the job number and I call 811. This makes no sense??? Since the 811 Service is Free, me and my neighbors get this done almost every week since last year. I am so frustrated I go pull the flags and hose the paint markings.

We understand your concern about the digging in your neighborhood, Laborkei.

However, we are not privy to the details of service installations, in terms of what company was hired to do the digging and when they'll be finished. Installing service in an area is a complex, and sometimes lengthy process, and it's possible that the work has been put on hold.

ware continually expanding our fiber footprint to more households every day. We will send you a notification via your preferred method as soon as AT&T Fiber becomes available to you.
