ATT damaged my lawn and sprinker line

I am not a ATT customer.

Att is putting fibre in my area. They decided to work in my front yard without bothering to inform me. They digged deep hole and messed up my lawn. They also damaged sprinkler line.

I have spend more than 4 hours on hold by calling different numbers but have no clue what is going on. I have never received any confirmation etc.

Can some tell me what should I do? Can I get my sprinker line fixed or do I need to wait on Att to do something? I really hate to be in this mess when I am not even a customer. N considering this is being handled, I really never see myself being one.

How should I navigate this? How is the timeline?

I would recommend documenting the damage with photos and keeping any receipts or estimates for repair costs. This information may be useful if you need to file a claim or seek reimbursement from AT&T.

Next, I would suggest reaching out to AT&T's customer service team again. You may want to try reaching out through social media channels like Twitter or Facebook, as these can sometimes be more responsive than phone support. Explain the situation and ask for a timeline for when the damage will be repaired. Ask if they have a contractor or service provider that they recommend for fixing the sprinkler line, or if they will cover the cost of repairs.

If you're not able to get a satisfactory response from AT&T, you may want to consider reaching out to your local government or consumer protection agency for assistance. They may be able to help you navigate the situation and ensure that your rights are protected.
