AT&T Crews Started Fiber Installation, Then Stopped. What’s Up?
There were little signs all over my neighborhood stating fiber was coming. I stopped to talk to one of the truck drivers to confirm my address was on their work order. They had plat maps and layouts of where the underground’s cables were going. My address was on their work order. There was a lot of activity for a few weeks and now it’s been over a month of nothing. Are they coming back? When can I reasonably expect better internet?

Different teams do different parts of the deployment. No way to know when the next team will return.

Good to know. Same thing in my neighborhood, the fiber lines were ran on the poles and a new box was installed (on the side of the road) next to the existing box AT&T put in a long time ago when they rolled out U-Verse. I was getting excited for fiber…but then all the work stopped and some of the cables were left looped and hanging on some poles…not all.
