AT&T Claim

This has been the most frustrating experience. I had damage to my home when fiber optic cable was installed on June 1st. It has been a month and I am still waiting for help. When I call Sedgwick I get a voicemail. I have left three messages and sent two emails and I have yet to hear anything! Only one person at AT&T has been helpful. “Eddie” spent two hours on the phone trying to help me. So far no results! Shame on you AT&T. Long time customer (cell, internet and tv) who may soon be leaving if this damage is not fixed soon. I have lost all respect for AT&T.

Hey, @Cornetl. We don't want to see you go.

Accidents happen, and we apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing. As you know, property damage claims are handled through our third-party administrator, Sedgwick.

Call our Support team at 1-800-288-2020 and let any agent know that you’d like to open a new claim against AT&T. They will ask you a series of questions related to the incident and provide you a submitted claim number once the claim is submitted.

Once a claim has been filed, a Sedgwick adjuster should contact you within 3-5 business days to interview you about the incident. Please ensure that you take photos of the damage/ incident.

Please feel free to reach back out if you need help in the future. Thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums!

Sedgwick DOES NOT RESPOND! That is the problem! ATT gives the run around and several numbers to call with zero results! Do not install fiber optic! The damage they do to your home will not get repaired! Terrible service!
