Wrong location
So we just had ATT fiber installed a few days ago, and since then myself of my husband can not play on our KY Lottery app (and spare me the crap about lottery/gambling, blah, blah, blah, it's our money so we spend how we like!) Anyway, now it is saying we can not access it from our location. We contacted KY lottery customer service and they said that ATT is pinging us from somewhere located in TN and then sending it back to us in KY, therefore our initial location shows we are in TN even when located in KY and that's why we are not able to play. This is really frustrating because it's not the only app that we are having issues with because of this. We know it's because of ATT fiber, not only because the CSR said it was but also because it was ALL fine until we made the switch!! So what can we or ATT do to fix this because it's already off to a bad and frustrating start???

AT&T is not providing IP Geolocation. IP Geolocation is provided by outside companies. Find out who the KY lottery uses for IP Geolocation and then ask that company how to correct your IP Geolocation.

We have the same problem. Whenever we hit "near us" on any website it shows us in Indianapolis. We are *NOT* anywhere close to Indianapolis. We are multiple states away.

This same thing is happening when I try to play ky lottery. I have been playing online for 2 years or so and just since like beginning of March it's says can't error 1606 for location. I have called ky lottery and att and no one can fix problem. Att says I am in Ky when they do the ping. Ky lottery says I'm not and they just emailed me today and said ATt doesn't allow us to do mobile opt in . This is first time they told me this after months. So I guess we are basically screwed.
