Wifi intermittently stops working on 5268AC router
I have a 5268AC router with Gigapower 1-gig service. The router is located in my basement, and I have a separate wireless access point connected to the router by Ethernet, running a 5GHz network. I have the 5268AC broadcasting a 2.4GHz network that all the legacy devices in my house connect to. Intermittently, I've had the 2.4GHz network stop working: devices can connect to the router, but they cannot access the internet. The wired connection (and the 5GHz access point) continue to work normally. Resetting the 2.4GHz network on the 5268AC doesn't fix the problem, but rebooting the router does. Any ideas what might be causing this? Is there a way to schedule daily reboots overnight to try to avoid this happening in the future?
I have the following devices connecting to the 2.4Ghz network: Logitech Harmony Hub, two Nest thermostats, 2 Skybell HD doorbell cameras, and a wireless extender (to reach one of the devices).

Hi @braket,
Sorry to read of the trouble you are having with your Wi-Fi. First thing we recommend doing is removing all devices that are running off of the 2.4 GHZ signal and testing one at a time to see if one of them is causing the issue. It is rare but we want to be safe.
If the issue persists, the modem itself may be the culprit and will need to be replaced. Let us know when what results you get when you test.
