Using Ethernet from my AT&T Fiber box with a Comcast router
I was trying to connect my PC to the internet using ethernet from my comcast router, but the only ethernet port near the router is an AT&T fiber boxed that was installed previously, when we had AT&T. Does anyone have any solutions or suggestions as to what to do to get this working? Does AT&T have a service to remove this box and put it back to normal?

Does AT&T provide a service to remove that fiber box that they previously installed then? Or would I have to do it myself?

Do it yourself. AT&T doesn’t do that

Do you live in an apt? Was the "fiber box", there when you moved in? Can you post a picture of this box so we can tell what it is?
If the answer to the first two is yes, maybe you should leave it alone.

Hi illtern, we're happy to help you with your concern about the AT&T equipment.
As Constructive mentioned, if Comcast is your ISP, you'll need to contact them to determine how to get the best connection.
When it comes to the box, are you referring to an AT&T gateway that you didn't need to return? If so, you don't need to have a technician come out to remove it, it's yours to do with as you please.
Please give us more details, so we can determine what your next step should be.
