Using BGW210 with Eero Pro

I have a question for the community. I live in a 2 story house and have had issues with coverage using just the BGW210 modem/router combo. I'm considering using a mesh Eero Pro with it. The question is: how would i set that up? Do I just turn off the wifi in the BGW210 or need to do something else? Anyone have any experience with this setup? I just want a week to go by without my wife complaining that our Ring Doorbell isn't getting a good enough wifi signal.

Thanks for everyone's help!

Hey, @bungeemike, We can understand how frustrating a poor Wi-Fi signal can be, we'd be happy to help you set up your desired Wi-Fi equipment!

In order to set up the Eero Pro system with your gateway (BGW210) you will have to enable IP Passthrough on the gateway to bridge it with the 3rd party Wi-Fi equipment, and to prevent signal interference, you will want to make sure the gateway's Wi-Fi is disabled.

If you're set on getting this 3rd party equipment and using it on your network, you will want to use the steps above, but you can also check out our Wi-Fi Extenders instead, which should be easier to set up.
