The BGW320 Is Getting a couple of new LED lights – Coming Soon!

Exciting news! There are some changes to the BGW320 modem with AT&T Phone - digital home phone service.

The AT&T Phone - digital home phone service is a service where your phone uses your AT&T modem for voice over IP (VoIP) service.  You would connect your home phone telephone set or home phone wiring to the grey 'Phone' port on the back of your modem.

The LED light on the front of your BGW320 modem will display a new color (Yellow) to support the AT&T Phone – digital home phone service if you have that service on your account.

Please Note: During conditions where your modem is offline the AT&T phone service will be impacted until the internet connection is up and running.

My

BGW320

Is flashing slow white after 3-4 power surges. It is plugged into a surge protector. I don't see what that light means

Hey @slmurray70, let's help find out what this light means!

There are two stages of the blinking white light. Read further to find out which you are dealing with:

  • Blinking White (Fast) Your Wi-Fi Gateway is starting up, please wait during this time.
  • Blinking White (Slow) Your Wi-Fi Gateway is powering up.

Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Does that mean there are two good service states, the one of which you have depending on if you subscribe to VoIP or not?

- If you do not subscribe to VoIP, solid white is the standard color for good service

- If you subscribe to VoIP, solid yellow is the standard color for good service
