Streaming live radio

When streaming live radio it constantly buffers. Att sent tech to increase speed,still buffers,eventually losing the stream.Have already done all the usual reset router, reinstalled apps.Itunes,Netflix,Amazon Prime all work fine, this just happens when using Iheart radio,Tune in , or a radio specific app.Any ideas ?

Hey, @irishborn, let's see if we can get you back to streaming your live radio!

What internet plan do you have? What devices does this happen on, does it happen on all the devices you try? When the tech went out, what did they do, did they replace anything?

We look forward to your response!

@irishborn

Your Internet works fine other than the problem with the radio apps, correct?Have you performed any other troubleshooting on the apps, such as increasing the buffer size?

Yes, just radio apps. I contacted Iheart radio , they replied ”You must be with ATT, problem is with ATT bandwidth.” Really shouldnt have to do anything with buffer size,I have plenty of speed. Would it be wise to just change carriers ? This has been going on for 3-4 months . Let me know if it would be easier to change carriers than resolve this issue,

Thanks much

@irishborn.

Have you tried streaming iheart radio on your devices' browsers? You could also try running the apps off of a public Wi-Fi network (library, fast food place, etc.) to see if it's specifically your internet the apps buffer on, or if it's on any network.

Let us know what you find out!

Apps do not buffer if I dont use my home wifi.Could this possibly be my router?This issue was not resolved by Att tech.He increased speed to 50/10 plan. Millions use these apps,why cant this be fixed. We have used Att for years but patience has all but run out.
