Replacement router and support frustration
I have AT&T Gigapower fiber, and it is awesome. Only a few short outages over five years. The frustration comes when you have to call in and deal with the broken call routing system. I then spent time with three people in the wrong departments, and eventually seem to get the right person after about 45 minutes. They then send out a new router, and I once again discover the service comes up on its own, and once again I have to return the router.
My question is this. I currently have the NVG599 unit. They sent out a 5268AC. Does anyone know if it makes sense to switch to this new model? Any benefit? Or should I just once again return the new router sent in error?
Thank you.

Good morning @jmizera,
The Pace5268 is a more stable gateway than the NVG599. However you can choose to keep either one of the routers if your NVG599 is still functional. We hope this helps!
