RDP through DMZ 5268AC drops at random very frequently

I just got Gigapower installed last week. I have the 5286AC. When I am at work, I RDP into my machine at home. Before with TWC, never a drop. Now with AT&T, drops constantly.

I have a Nighthawk 7000 router setup as the DMZ and use port-forwarding through it. This always worked before, now I get drops all the time.

Please tell me there is a setting I am missing somewhere.

Signed, frustrated!

@photostu  Generally Uverse RGs are designed only for ATT to remotely access anywhere in your system, users are not.

Users can set-up security cameras in DMZ zone/IP Passthrough and be seen from outside the system,  A single computer (not a 3rd party router) might be able to be accessed that way, but can't drill down past that.

Just the way ATT setup things up.  All providers don't do exact same thing. 😉

I decided not to fight the system and moved my main machine to the RG subnet. Will RDP into it via RG port forwarding for now. Will see tomorrow if I still get the drops.
