Port forwarding and IP passthrough no longer work on my BGW210

Port forwarding and IP passthrough no longer work on my BGW210 after the firmware was updated to 1.6.7

Remote access to the Gateway from outside the home network does not work either.

If I reboot, everything works for a few minutes, and then does not.

I'm having the same problem. One clarification, when I restart the BGW210-700, the port forwarding works for a few minutes, then stops working again.

This started yesterday, 8/20/18. SW version 1.6.7. Don't know when the last update was.

Does anyone know if putting the BGW210 (firmware 1.8.18) in IP passthrough and using my own router allows port-forwarding? I was so happy to be able to use my own router again by using the Arris gateway, but now port-forwarding isn’t working.

I haven't see anyone on 1.8.18 complaining about broken port forwarding when using IP Passthrough.

I spent 4 hrs researching yesterday and realized I had clicked IP Passthrough and expected the AT&T gateway to handle the rest. There’s much more required for true Passthrough with AT&T than with other ISP. The gateway did not actually assign the public IP to my personal router’s WAN port and there are conflicting guides advising users to turn on cascade router (which is not necessary). I had to manually enter my public iP and gateway into my personal router.

Yeah, I'm sure there are probably good reasons why Arris didn't provide a true bridge mode on the RG but it's definitely a non-trivial task to get your own router working.
