Pace 5268AC NAT Issues

Hey Everyone,

 

I have an issue setting up port forwarding on my 5268AC. I followed the process to unblock the ports, added my PC with a static address and opened the needed ports. The router states that the ports were opened successfully but when i run a NAT checker it states that the ports are closed. Has anyone had this issue before and figured out what could be the issue? I've been at this for the last couple days and nothing. I have also reset the router twice along with the PC and nothing. If it helps, I am on ATT Fiber at the 1000/1000mbps. Not sure if that changes anything. Thanks everyone.

Hi cburcet,

Sorry to read of the trouble you're having with setting up port forwarding on your 5268AC modem / router and having it work properly. In regards to you having AT&T Gigapower fiber Internet, it shouldn't matter. An Internet connection is the same across the spectrum, as they all use a router for access to the Web and use the IP protocol as the means of communication.
