Kansas City fiber cut - no update, no restoration time, no information?

Apparently 1500 users are affected by a fiber cut that took place on Tuesday - after 3 calls, a tech visit and a lot of patience, no update on restoration time.

 

Does anyone know any more?

@colmroughan   And it will take awhile to reconnect each individual fiber optic cable in that bundle.

 

But doubt you'll get an update, it's probably an outside contractor doing the work, as they do the initial laying and have to splice things in certain areas.

 

You should be able to get credit for all the full 24 hr days it's out, nothing for a partial day at beginning or end. 😉

Thanks Chris the re splicing will take forever and somehow I doubt they will work through the night
