IPTV Video section Buffers in the night time only (for 2-3 hours)
Hello
For the past 2-3 weeks, my IPTV video section starts buffering after 7.30-8 PM est.
Throughout the day I don't face any issues with IPTV streaming. But after 8 PM EST or so, video section of IPTV starts buffering. and lasts for around 2-3 hours anything I do doesn't help. tried restarting the internet, reset the settop box, connected with ethernet etc..
Same problem happens with one of my friend who has same IPTV provider and ATT fiber network. Other friend who doesn't have ATT not facing any issue with same IPTV provider. This makes me think that something wrong with the ATT in the peak hours may be. But contradictory netflix or any other online gaming streaming is not impacted.
Its just IPTV is facing issues every day night time for 2-3 hours.
Already talked to IPTV provider, he says from his side everything is in place , there might be issues with ATT only.
But weirdly this starts in recent past only (2-3 weeks), before that there was no issues. Not sure any modem update or some internet security update happened.
Thanks

Just to be clear, when you say "IPTV section", you are talking about some IPTV application, not AT&T U-verse, correct?
Can you run a traceroute to the IPTV provider's content servers? It would be useful to see the results of a traceroute when you are having an issue, but also when you are not.

Yes, some IPTV application, not the ATT U-Verse.
I'll try to run traceroute and update.

Pool.ntp.org is not an IPTV server. It's a dynamic DNS entry that will route to some nearby NTP server, i.e. where you can get an accurate reading of UTC.
You'll need to get an accurate name/IP for your IPTV server before a traceroute will be useful.

Sorry , not a techie. But let me know if below helps!
If this is not correct, then will check with provider to get the server details.
Thanks

Your first IP (the chosen NTP server out of the pool) was a Cloudflare NTP server. This appears to also be a Cloudflare server, which may or may not be hosting your IPTVs content. But there's no way for us to tell. Also, we need to check your route when you're actually experiencing a problem as well.
