Internet Router Problem

Hi!
My Internet Router is not working anymore. Last night there was a strong hale in our area and after that the internet is out. I have directly contact the relevant person but they are still unable to address my problem in a proper way.
I have already takes following steps to make it work:
1) Tested my Wi-Fi on different devices

2) Restarted my modem and router

3) Tried a different Ethernet cable

4) Reset my router to default settings.

I am helpless to upgrade my equipment now.

Can anyone suggest me what should I do.

If you have had bad weather in your area and your Internet went out, it is very likely that the bad weather caused an issue with that AT&T infrastructure which now must be repaired.  Until it is repaired, your Gateway will not function.

Call Customer Service 1-800-288-2020.  Tell them that you need a replacement router to be sent to you for a self-install.

You should get an email with instructions on how to return the old one.

I had issues several months ago, after a lightening strike in the area.  It turned out that the router was damaged along with the external cables outside of the house.  I guess sometimes tech is not so indestructable as we had hoped.  A new router and new cables outside solved the issue.
