Internet outage

2nd internet outage this month. Last one lasted from 8pm to next day 4pm. I work from home and don't have cable TV. I pay $80 per month only for internet. I didn't have any outages like this with Spectrum. Do better At&t. This makes me consider switching back.

Hello Dreq333,

We understand the importance of having a stable internet connection and this is definitely not the experience we want you to be feeling about our services.

Also, outages may be caused by physical damage to the network, such as fiber line being cut, natural calamities and constructions.

Feel free to use this outage link to check if you have any outages in the future!

If your livelihood depends on internet you can either have a dedicated business line or have a second backup service.

Do you mean a 2nd line with another company or AT&T business lines are better. Also how does it work with second backup, do you only pay when you need it? If I'm paying I expect service and if not then I want a discount for time without service.

You can get a credit once your service is restored.  It will be a few dollars for each day your service is down.

Business Internet is expensive compared to residential service but residential service was never meant to be used for business.

If you go the “second service” route it would be through a different provider (ie Spectrum) which is NOT a pay per use service.  You pay a monthly fee like any residential service.
